in the holidays
in + 一段时间有两种含义。它可以表示“在某段时间之内”，例如上面的 in the holidays， 此时它可以用于现在时，过去时或者将来时，一般与完成某个动作相关。
I always eat my breakfast in ten miniutes.
另外，它还可以表示 “一段时间之后”，与将来时连用。
Mother will be back in ten days.
一段时间¶
during 后面跟一个名词来指整个一段时间。有时也可以用 in 来指代一段时间。
It was very hot during the summer.
在过去时中不使用 in 来替代 during.
from … till … 指一段明确的时间。
The tourist season runs form June till October.
短暂动作表示的时间段，只能在否定形式使用 till/untill。
I won't leave till/untill Monday.
