in + 一段时间有两种含义。它可以表示“在某段时间之内”，例如上面的 `in the holidays`，
此时它可以用于现在时，过去时或者将来时，一般与完成某个动作相关。 ::

    I always eat my breakfast in ten miniutes.

另外，它还可以表示 “一段时间之后”，与将来时连用。 ::

    Mother will be back in ten days.

一段时间

during 后面跟一个名词来指整个一段时间。有时也可以用 in 来指代一段时间。 ::

    It was very hot during the summer.

在过去时中不使用 in 来替代 during.


from ... till ... 指一段明确的时间。 ::

    The tourist season runs form June till October.

短暂动作表示的时间段，只能在否定形式使用 till/untill。 ::

    I won't leave till/untill Monday.
