some 和 any
==================

some 表示确定的数量，通常用于肯定句。可修饰可数和不可数名词。某些疑问句中，若希望回答是yes的时候也可以使用some。 ::

    There is some water in the glass.
    Have you got some paper-clips in that box?（知道你有，希望你说yes）

any 表示不确定的数量，通常用在含有not的否定句中，也用于表示我们不能确定答案是肯定或否定，或预料答案是no的疑问句中。 ::

    There are no any spoons in the cupboard.
    Are there any cigarettes on the floor? No, there aren't.

many 主要用于疑问句和否定句中，放在可数名词之前；

much 主要用于疑问句和否定句中，放在不可数名词之前。
